FDM Crosswalk
An end-user tool that allows users to find current FDM Worktag values required for transactions by entering prior PeopleSoft criteria. Helps users get familiar with terminology changes that come with adopting the FDM.
Field (reporting)
In a Report Writer report, a field contains data related to a particular primary or related business object.
Filter
Sorts out undesired data, used when creating reports with Report Writer.
Flexibility
In ERP, flexibility refers to the relative ease with which a software or program can be adapted to accommodate a changing business environment or new business model.
Foundation Data Model
A financial representation of some, or all, aspects of the organization. The model is constructed using calculations and provides recommendations based on that information.
Function
Custom Related Worktag that identifies the general purpose of a transactions, adhering to the National Association of College and University Business Officer (NACUBO) functional classifications.
Functional Area
A functional area is a collection of domain or business process security policies that are related to the same set of product features, for example, Assets, Banking & Settlement, Grants & Contracts, etc.
Functionality
The spectrum of tasks that a computer program or ERP software can perform.
Fund
Related Worktag that segregates self-balancing transactions based on special regulations, restrictions, or limitations. The values for this Worktag align with the Fund Chartfield values as identified by the USG.
