The Plan for Continuous Improvement
The Transformation Team is committed toward the continuous improvement of enterprise systems for campus. This effort is driven by formal feedback provided by a group of Finance Directors on campus and key representatives from the academic and research units, referred to as the Administrative Pain Points Priority List as well as continuous system updates from Workday and the USG, and enhancements to the LITE platform.
Administrative Pain Points Priority List
In mid 2020, a group of Financial Directors and key representatives from the academic and research units got together to compile a list of pain points with administrative processes. The pain points ranged from system configurations, to process bottlenecks, to communication gaps, and reporting issues. These pain points were synthesized into a task list of roughly 70 items for the Transformation Team to focus on.
